Who we are
Visora ("we", "us") operates https://geovisora.com — a Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform for merchants. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you use our website and services.
Information we collect
Account data: email, name, password hash (we never store plain-text passwords), locale, plan and credit balances. Product data: URLs you scan, audit reports, unlock/purchase history. Communications: contact and feedback messages. Payment: processed by PayPal (or Stripe if configured); we store order metadata (amount, product type, status) — not your full card number. Authentication: if you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and basic profile as permitted by Google.
How we use information
To provide GEO audits, full reports, email delivery of PDFs, account management, billing fulfillment, customer support, security, fraud prevention, and product improvement. We do not sell your personal data.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process data based on: contract performance (providing the service you request), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent (where required), and legal obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies/session storage for login (authentication) and locale preference. We do not currently run third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.
Processors and international transfers
We use reputable processors: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Brevo (transactional email), PayPal (payments), Google (OAuth if enabled), and AI providers such as DeepSeek / Google Gemini for optional AI features. Data may be processed in the United States, Europe, or other regions where these providers operate. Transfers rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (e.g. standard contractual clauses where applicable).
Retention
We keep account and report data while your account is active. Payment records are retained as needed for accounting, chargebacks, and legal compliance. You may delete your account in Settings; we will remove or anonymize personal data except where we must retain records (e.g. completed payments).
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Use Settings → delete account, or contact us via the Contact form. EEA/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
Children
Visora is intended for business users age 16+ (or older if required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
